Fought for a United Kingdom
With bravery, heart and desire...
Stalwart men and women
Who rolled up their sleeves and made
The very best of what they had
And for victory was prayed.
Here we are all those years later
With hearts that seem somehow colder
Dismissing those poor souls who gave it all
Who didn’t......grow older.
